I have been having this smoothie for breakfast every day for about a month and am loving it. Husband-Gusto calls it ‘pond sludge smoothie’ and shudders when he sees me make it. I think it is delicious, and a great start to the day! It is a great way to get fruit and greens in first thing, and the seeds offer lots of Omega 3s.
200 ml soy milk
1 handful fresh kale
1 teaspoon flax seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon maca powder
2 teaspoons spirulina, wheat grass, chlorella and barley grass mix
3 handfuls frozen fruit of the forest berries
1 tablespoon agave syrup
1 tablespoon cocoa powder.
This tastes like a chocolate berry milkshake and I LOVE it.
